All over the country, fall is the most popular time of the year to get married. According to The Knot, 14% of all weddings take place in September, while 12% of all weddings take place in October and 6% in November. Here in Arizona, September might still be a bit warm for an outdoor wedding, but there is no better place to be than on the waterfront at Val Vista Lakes, under a beautiful sunset during an October wedding.

So, let’s talk fall wedding cakes. A few weeks ago, we posted some amazing beach themed inspired wedding cakes to our blog gallery, and got a huge response on some very creative ideas. Today, we’ll add some more cake pictures to our gallery featuring the most popular and creative fall wedding cakes.

A fall wedding in October allows for a certain amount of creativity with your wedding cake. You can choose fall colors such as burnt orange, browns, yellows and reds, using maple leaves as accents, or you can remain traditional. You can use distinct fall flavors like pumpkin cake or spice cake, or stick to the vanilla and chocolate tastes that everyone enjoys.

A fall wedding cake can include scenes from the season with frosting leaves, dahlias or sunflowers. Or perhaps you want some acorns and other fall-inspired elements to accent your fall wedding cake. There are a billion options for your fall wedding cake. Take a look at the gallery below for some inspiration.
